Spiritual Seminar and Safe Environment Training/James Hua

Two things to update you.

(1) This is to inform you the spiritual seminar sponsored by Fremont Chinese Community:

(2) As I reported to you in Sunday Mass announcement, we, as church volunteer, are required to take one training to raise our awareness of abuse and neglect to help protect the most vulnerable members of our communities.  Please see following information.  NOTE: we have to attend this class, on-line or live.  Please see this as one of the opportunities of Social Justice action we can practice as Catholic.

   Safe Environment Training - Sr. Pat advised us that ALL volunteers need to
   participate in the on-line safe environment training (www.shieldthevulnerable.org).
   A “live” training is also available on January 14, 2008 from 4:00-6:00PM at the
   Chancery in room 303 (in Diocese office building across the street at
   900 Lafayette Street, Santa Clara, CA) as an alternative to the on-line training.
