SJCCC Weekly eNews 7/1/2012: WE ARE A MISSION!

Dear brothers and sisters,
Effective today, July 1st, 2012, our community has become a Mission! In addition to the small change in our name and some adjustments in our stucture, let us pray for deeper love to our God and to one another, for new strive of holiness, and for new energy to spread the Gospel of Salvation. Let us prepare ourselves with joy to welcome our Bishop next Sunday, to have a formal and solemn celebration of the love of God for us.

從今天，七月一日開始，我們的的團體已變成準堂區（Mission），讓我們祈求天主這不只是一個改名字或是調整團體的結構，而是在我們心中帶給我們深深的新的愛天主、愛人的精神, 為加增聖德的一個新努力，為傳福音的一個新活力。讓我們高興的準備下個星期日, 迎接我們的主教, 隆重! ;而正式的慶祝天主對我們的愛。

喜報: 經過6/3排序投票和主教的批准, 大聖若瑟 – 聖家的家長、普世聖教會的主保、中國教會的主保、以及我們教區的主保,也會正式成為我們團體的主保聖人! 在此過度期間, 請繼續為我們的團體不斷祈禱!

June 10th (TODAY) – We will announce the final decision for our patron saint and make public our mission statement.
This will be a memorable event as we will be able for the first time to entrust our Mission to our patron saint!
July 8th – Mission Installation。

Please pray for our patron saints

May 27th – The complete list of proposed saints is available。

June 3rd – Everyone will be invited to vote on the list of saints。

The votes will be counted using ranked-choice voting method (排序投票制), this way, we will arrive at a patron that most people support。

The names with the top votes will be reviewed by the Pastoral Council and presented to the Bishop the following week。

June 10th – We will announce the final decision for our patron saint and make public our mission statement。 This will be a memorable event as we will be able for the first time to entrust our Mission to our patron saint!

July 8th – Mission Installation。

中華聖母請為我們祈禱/Our Lady of China, pray for us
大聖若瑟請為我們祈禱/Saint Joseph, pray for us

Operation Rice Bowl - Last day to turn in the rice bowl is today - 5/20, or you can write a check out to SJCCC, memo "ORB".
May Appeal of Catholic Charities: Please participate with your generous help by either cash or check during second collection TODAY at Union Mass; or make the check payable to "Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County" and mail it to 2625 Zanker Road, San Jose, CA 95134-2130.
聖心學校學期末慶祝活動:　School End Pizza Party 5/20/201 TODAY: welcome all the church members to attend and we will have raffle prizes to give away.
聖心學校新學年報名註冊: Registration Form in English, 中文報名表 Completed registration forms can be submitted after mass in Parish Hall during the party. The last day for early enrollment discount is 5/20 (TODAY). After 5/20, all forms should be submitted via mail to the address shown on the form.
