Re: Prayer Request for Jeffrey Pan/James Hua

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

With deep regret, Pan, Chung-Yang and Hung, Mei-Lyan's son, Jeffrey Pan passed away tonight after days of extensive rescue effort. We are very sorry for Pan's family loss!

We have asked Irvine's (LA) Catholic members to assist Pan's family during this difficult time in hospital. 楊神父 Fr. Yang in Irvine accompanied and administered Jeffrey with Sacrament of the Sick and Dying.

Many of you care so much and pray hard for Jeffrey. Chung-Yang and Mei-Lyan appreciate your kind help and prayer - thank you!

We will hold a vigil prayer this Friday night and Funeral Mass on Saturday. The details will follow when the arrangement is settled. Let's remember Jeffrey in our prayer.

We pray that God receive Jeffrey's soul into heaven and grant him the eternal life. May our Lord comfort Jeffrey's grieving parents and relatives.

Regards,
James

Prayer Request for Jeffrey Pan/James Hua

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Please pray for our young man Jeffrey Pan (nephew of Pan, Chungshi and Chen, Chinwen) who went to Tijuana with our Watermark Youth. He is still in coma since early yesterday in LA hospital ICU.

According to my conversation with Chinwen, he recently got a cold, visited doctor and was taking medicine. Somehow yesterday his condition suddenly worsen and was sent to hospital ER. Ever since he did not gain conscious. Doctor suspects it's Sepsis (敗血症).

Please pray for Jeffrey's recovery. May our Lord Jesus heal Jeffrey's body and grant him good health.

James Hua
PS: 敗血症身體某些部位的細菌擴散至血液,細菌在血液中大量繁殖並且產生毒素,令人體器官功能受損,並會在病發時衰竭

Confirmation 2008

Confirmation picturesConfirmation Pictures from 4/2008 with the SJCCC Watermark group, taken at St. Joseph Basillica, San Jose. What a very blessed and wonderful day! Hundreds of youth getting confirmed across the San Jose Diocese, with 12 from our community. The Basiilica was totally packed with standing room only. Youth is our Future!

"God Loves You", the inspirational homily at the Confirmation Mass by Bishop Patrick McGrath.

Thanks to Cindy, Henry, and all the CM teachers and staff, and all the Watermark Young Adults for their support! May God bless and fill all of the confirmed with His Spirit and love everyday!
