Retirement party for Fr. Koo/Li-Peng Chou

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ:

As many of you may already know that our beloved Fr. Koo will retire in July of this year. In the past 15 years, Fr. Koo provides constant sacrament services to us and helps the spiritual growth of the community. In order to show our gratitude for his tireless efforts as a good shepherd, we'd like to hold a party to glorify his retirement. You are cordially invited to attend the party on:

1. Time: June 29. Sunday,
   3:00: Mandarin mass
   4:30: Receptions, Book signing
   6:30: Dinner
2. Place: St. Clare Parish

親愛的兄弟姊妹，

我們的顧神父要退休了，新來照顧我們的牧者Fr. Olivera即將接任。

在這新舊交接之際，我們藉慶祝活動表達我們的感謝。

──感謝天主為我們安排顧神父，他在各種惡劣環境中，以堅定的信德守住自己對天主的盟約；他在走投無路時，以赤子之情向天主求助。

──謝謝顧神父十五年來對聖荷西華人團體的服務；謝謝他與我們同在的種種情景。

──感謝天主對我們時時的照顧，安排Fr. Olivera 的到來，與我們共創新的前景。
