Chinese New Year celebration at St. Joseph of Cupertino

If there are SJCCC members who are unable to attend the Chinese New Year celebration at St. Clare's or who would like to have an additional opportunity to celebrate the New Year, they are welcome to take part in the St. Joseph of Cupertino Chinese New Year mass and ancestral ceremony (in English) on February 8 at 11 A.M.  A reception with food and entertainment will follow in the parish hall.  Those attending are asked to bring different ethnic foods to share.

2009 SF Chinese New Year Parade

Event: Take Bart to 2009 SF Chinese New Year Parade

Gathering: 1) 4 pm -- 4:10 pm at Daly City Bart Station (500 John Daly Blvd., Daly City)
We will take Bart train from Daly City to Montgomery St. Station, SF.
Bart fare is $5.60 round trip per person

2) If you coming from Fremont area, please take Bart to Montgomery St. Station
and meet us 4:40 pm at front court of Etrade Corp. (532 Market St, San
Francisco, San Francisco)

Parade: 5:15pm – 8pm the floats will route Market, Geary, Powell, Post, and Keanny St.

Chinese New Year Fair schedule correction

Please be noted for a schedule correction, the Chinese New Year Fair will start from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM on Sunday, Feb. 8.

1:00 - 2:30: New Year Activity Fair sponsored by the Sacred Heart Chinese School
3:00 - 4:15: New Year Mass with Bishop McGrath
4:30 - 5:30: Reception in the Parish Hall
5:30 - 7:00: Banquet at the China Stix restaurant (2110 El Camino Real, Santa Clara CA 95050)
