SJCCC Calendar

SJCCC Master Calendar is a combination of many functional/group calendars that are maintained by each group. 

Each of the group calendar is a separate Google calendar:

• sjccc.faith@gmail.com - faith team
  
• sjccc.liturgy@gmail.com - liturgy
  
• sjccc.sacred@gmail.com - school
  
• sjccc.all@gmail.com - overall/council

SJCCC.Calendar (http://www.sjccc.org/calendar.htm) is a consolidated view of all these group calendars, it is available from the left rail of sjccc.org.  Here are some tips on how to use this master calendar as a community member:

• Click on  月曆 on the left side of sjccc.org and you will see a Monthly View of the calendar for current month
• On the top left, you can click on left arrow or right arrow to move the previous or next month, you can also click on the down arrow to navigate using a small calendar
• On the top right, you can print, or switch between Month view and Week view
• You can also click on "Agenda" to select which sub-group calendars you want to see.  For example, to exclude "US Holidays" from the current view, uncheck "US Holidays"
• To see more detail of a particular event, just click on the event.  A pop up window will appear.  You can get even more detailed information by clicking on the "More Detailed" link in the pop up window

How to Add/Edit events in a group calendar:

• Go to Google Calendar: http://www.google.com/calendar/render
• Login to your group (contact leader for the password)
• Navigate to the day of the event, and click on the grid (e.g., 7/8/2010)
• Enter the event information (e.g., 7-9pm Council Meeting) and click "Create Event", and you are done!
• If you want to add more information, just click on the event, and click "Edit Event Details", and you can enter location and other detail information

Uploading SJCCC pictures

Our current plan is to leverage external services like Picasa to share community pictures.  This enable us to leverage the very nice state of the art features without a lot of infrastructure, and it allows the members to help and participate in the process.

How to Upload Pictures to the SJCCC website:

• Go to:  http://picasaweb.google.com/home
• Log in as:  sjccc2011c@gmail.com (changes depending on the year, contact webteam @ sjccc.org for password)
• Please create a folder in a the format yyyy-mm-dd-EventName, for example: 2010-02-28-Lantern-Festival-[your-name]
• Please set the privacy to "Unlisted"
  
• Please upload pictures at 1600 or 1024 pix, I think that resolution should be sufficient.
• When you are done, send a message to  webteam @ sjccc and we will link the album to the sjccc website

教友心得分享

最近有時間的時候，我會聽西洋藝術史的錄音帶，裡面介紹的一些畫或是雕刻，跟我們的信仰有關。想藉這個機會，分享給大家。

米開朗基羅的創造亞當﹝The Creation of Adam﹞:

我們大概很容易就能從畫中體會到"創造"的感動。藉著米開朗基羅對天主創造的信仰，也會激發我們對生活的熱情。我們原本也分享了天主創造的特性，這原本是我們生活的本質之一。

而他在伯多祿教堂的聖殤﹝Pieta﹞也是美的讓人震動:

有的人覺得，這雕像裡面很少有哀傷的氣氛。聖母抱著耶穌的手，好像在對我們說:你們看，多美好的身體。生命是多麼值得被祝福的。這是米開朗基羅23歲的作品。如果要是什麼地方可能被批評的話，大概是這個雕像太完美了，完全看不到生命的悲憫跟痛苦。

這兩個聖殤像，耶穌已經衰弱到聖母都扶不起他來。或許米開朗基羅23歲做的聖殤是完美的，就像23歲的他，覺得生命是充滿光明的，是沒有一點瑕疵的。
那時的他，也看不到生命沉重的一面。而在他生命的後期，少了年輕時的意氣風發，反而多了些對生命的同情。或許經過生活的歷練，看到了年輕時，看不到的殘缺。其實，殘缺可能也是我們生命的一部分。

從他的雕刻裡，我們看到了他對生命的態度的轉變。這其中，當然也有他信仰的態度的轉變。在我們的生命裡，可能也看到類似的信仰轉變。
有的時候，我們也可以從對聖畫的喜好裡，看到我們對不同信仰態度的喜好。有的人喜歡拉斐爾的聖母像 (聖母 耶穌與洗者若翰):

他的聖母永遠是紅咚咚的。耶穌跟若翰，像是小天使一樣，純潔無邪。他的畫充滿了感性與熱情，就像他的信仰跟生活一樣。畫裡面充滿了溫暖與甜美。有的人喜歡達文西 (最後晚餐):

他的畫就比較冷靜與理性，一直在追求協調，常常喜歡分析。如果我們是理性的信仰態度，也許我們也可以欣賞我們朋友感性的信仰。
學習看到生活或是信仰中熱情的一面。如果我們是感性的，也許我們也可以欣賞理性分析的信仰態度。早期的聖像 (icon) ，有些人覺得好像很死板:

有些人是說:那時候的人，刻意減少感官給人的感動。使信友，看畫祈禱的時候，不是只覺得聖母跟耶穌很美，而是能有信仰的感動。使信仰更純粹。
其實，當我們看畫的時候，如果受到感動，也許是聖神在跟我們說話。給我們一個機會看到我們的生活跟我們的信仰。

胡國楨神父講座將分四個單元進行，時間，地點如下：

從孤寂到獨處，從幻想到祈禱

盧雲靈修思想初探

2010.07.24、26~28聖荷西華人天主教團體 參考書目：請大家備妥以下三本書

• 書一：《熾熱的心：感恩祭的生活默想》
• 書二：《你能飲這杯嗎?》
• 書三：《念茲在茲：活在聖神中》

    廿世紀在基督信仰的世界中，有兩大靈修作家：牟敦及盧雲。兩人在靈修思想及靈修體驗上，有著師承關係。牟敦是嚴規熙篤會的隱修士；盧雲是原籍荷蘭的教區神父，是個從心理學及日常生活談靈修學的作者。
    盧雲，在1960年代，於美國聖母大學從事心理諮商與牧靈關懷方面的研究及教學工作。
    1970年代在耶魯大學教授靈修學及司鐸牧職相關的課程，其間多到到嚴規篤會隱修院做長期（超過半年以上）的靈修體驗，寫了一連串有關靈修 體驗的書籍作品，其中使他成名的兩本作品是《走出孤獨》及《從幻想到祈禱：靈修生活的三個動向》，前者是透過？？福音默想，談祈禱及靈修的意義；後者是比 較有系統地談靈修生活的理論。他認為真正的靈修途徑是「從孤寂到獨處；從敵意到善意；從幻想到祈禱」。
    隨後，盧雲於1981年，辭去耶魯的教職，前往拉丁美洲，希望培訓自己成為一個傳教士，但挫折而歸。接受哈佛大學神學院邀約教授靈修學。三年後，正式離開大學教職，加入以服務身心重殘人士為主的靈修社團「方舟團體」，直到逝世。
    促使盧雲將餘生完全投入「方舟團體」的一個主要因素，是他接觸到荷蘭畫家林布蘭的「浪子回頭」畫作，他辭去哈佛教職，以一年時間思考並體驗 「方舟團體」生活期間，他曾前往俄國聖彼德堡某博物館原畫作前默想體悟其中天人關係的真義，而後他寫了《浪子回頭》一書，這是盧雲靈修思想成熟階段是重要 的作品之一。
    而後，盧雲在「方舟團體」位於加拿大多倫多巿郊的「黎明之家」度其人生最後的十年生活。
    《熾熱的心：感恩祭的生活默想》、《你能飲這杯嗎?》、《念茲在茲：活在聖神中》三書是盧雲晚年最後寫出的靈修作品，是他一生靈修成果的最後結晶。
    這次「盧雲靈修觀」講座，我將分作四個單元：

第一單元約三個小時（7月24日9:15~12:30），內容包括

• 盧雲生平介紹
• 盧雲自我評論自己一生的意義（影片）
• 「方舟團體」創辦人對盧雲一生的評論（影片）
• 以《走出孤獨》、《從幻想到祈禱：靈修生活的三個動向》及《浪子回頭》三書為基礎，談盧雲的靈修觀。

第二、三、四單元，每單元約二個小時（7月26~28日19:30~21:30），分別以下列三書作讀書分享

• 書一：《熾熱的心：感恩祭的生活默想》
• 書二：《你能飲這杯嗎?》
• 書三：《念茲在茲：活在聖神中》

SJCCC: 1-day Pilgrimage/Bus Tour on 8/7

在8/7 (週六), 福傳組將辨一次一天的朝聖之旅, 坐遊覽車參觀 Fr. Junipero Serra建立的第二和第三個傳教區. 在時光隧道裡,充滿樂趣地 穿梭於1771年和 2001年之間,懷念並感謝傳教士們的貢獻,也藉此機會,邀 請我們身邊的非教友們, 參與這加州歷史的宗教活動.西班牙傳教士曾在加州建立21個傳教區.

Fr. Junipero Serra 26歲時在聖地牙哥建立了第一個傳教區, 1771年時70歲時，他所建立的第二個傳教區Carmel 去世並葬在 Carmel 的教堂內. 1988年9月25日教宗保祿若望二世宣封為真福. 在1771年, Serra 神父又在北加州 Jolon 建立了第三個傳教區 San Antonio de Padua.

時間: 8/7/2010. 9:00a 開車, 8:30p 回St. Clare 教堂
費用: 成人及兒童一律每人$30 (僅含交通, 水, 與點心).—費用請在報名時繳清
