Reminder for workshop events/Li-Peng

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ:
Just a kind reminder for three events in the coming week, which you might be interested:
  1. May 10, Saturday 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm,
Subject: Music in 18th Century China.
    Speaker: Fr. Joyce Lindoref, DMA
Place: Cupertino Square (Vallco Shopping Mall)
This is a rare opportunity to learn music practiced by the Chinese Catholic church in 18th century. Fr. Ed. Maletasta found the music from some old archives and gave them to Fr. Lindoref for further study and play. You will hear the actual plays in the workshop. It should be very interesting and educational.
  2. May 17, Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm,
    Subject: Boundaries in marriage
    Speaker: Sr. Clare Chiang
    Place: St. Clare church
This is the second workshop led by Sr. Chiang for our community. If you missed the first one, then you must not miss this one. Before we try to bridge gaps in our marriage, it is better to know where they are.
  3. May 17, Saturday 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm,
    Subject: American Born Chinese
Place: Cupertino Square (Vallco Shopping Mall)
    Speaker: Gene Yang
Gene is one of founders of our Watermark Youth Group. He will share his grow-up experience as a second generation Chinese American here in the Bay Area. In addition, he will offer book signing of his Pulitzer award-winning comic book.
In Christ,
Li-peng Chou
