Hi.  Our family wants to thank the community for everyone's prayers.  My grandfather passed away yesterday (Jan. 27) at approx. 3:00 pm in the afternoon in San Diego.  He was surrounded by his family when he took his final breath.  He was in peace when he left.

Hi Uncle Lipeng
Would it be appropriate to send a request to community to please pray for my grandfather in San Diego (mom's side) who is in his final days.  He has been in hospice care for the last week and is  physically and mentally struggling to cope with his situation.  We think he will have less than a few days now and just want him to be in as much peace and comfort when he goes.

Cornerstone prefessional group - 2008-02-02 (Saturday) 9:30 am/Vincent Wang

How are you? We talked about our professional group since last year. Finally we discussed with Fr. Kimm and got his support for using church office in the Saturday morning. We now decided to start our Cornerstone Professional Forum Group monthly meeting in the coming month. Our kickoff meeting is 2008-02-02 Saturday morning 9:30~11:30 am. Please see detail about our group, meeting location and schedule in the following.

We are welcome anyone from our friends and families including, spouse, relatives, friends, etc. whoever like to share, help others, or seeking for help. Please do let me know if you like to join us. We need to get an idea about how many people will join and report back to the church for the room reservation.
